Hello everyone, I am the
reigning Miss Gay Gastonia 07 - 08 for just a little while
longer. I would like to tell you all about my journey of
this title.
On April 14, 2007, I was
crowned Miss Gay Gastonia, out of the 15 years of female
impersonation it was my very first crown. I've been in
many pageants and was a lot of first and second runner ups.
On that night, my lovely sister, Macy Alexander, Miss SC United
States 2006 - 2007, helped me get it together to win Miss Gay
Gastonia. Joanna Marie Gentry crowned me that night
leaving me her shoes to fill. I would like to take this
moment to thank her for all her support on giving me advice on
carrying my title. I love you Joanna Gentry, you are a
wonderful person in my life. You help me stay strong and I
love you for that.
I've been through a lot while
being Miss Gastonia. I hope I help put Gastonia on the map
for female impersonation. We do have a lot of talent here.
This year was very special for me. I also helped prove you
can have a dream as long as you stay at it and stay focused.
Don't let "drag drama" get in your way. I had a wonderful
year. Yes, I had my ups and downs like any human being.
There have been people who wanted to keep me down but the great
God above protected me from all evil. I want to thank Him
for keeping me safe. I want to thank a few people and
organizations at this time.
First, I want to thank Herb
and Teresa, owners of Night Owls for giving me a chance to call
Night Owls home! I love you both with all my heart.
I hope that I have made you proud. Teresa, I will love you
always. You have taught me a lot. I want to thank
you for all you've done for me. God bless you.
Secondly, Miss Joanna Marie
Gentry. Thank you for being my one of my true friends.
You also helped guide me through all this. You mean so
much to me. I thank God for you. May God bless you,
Joanna.
Next, Wes, Miss Krystal
Diamond. Oh my God, you are my everything. You and
Johnny and Scott helped me get through my rough times. You
know what I mean. Girl, no matter what, I've got your
back. You are a diva.
To my Night Owls sisters and
brothers and friends. Miss Night Owls, Needa Samore - girl
we have other travels together - remember Myrtle Beach?
You are so sweet and drama free. I always love you.
You are a wonderful Miss Night Owls! Sierra LaMae - You
dizzy diva - you are just crazy. We have had great times
together. Ashley Monroe - Keep on smiling girl.
You're gonna do well. You are beautiful inside and out.
Cheyenne Flowers - you are so sweet. You have changed for
the better. Just be yourself. DJ Ray - You HOT
@*#&%^#. Let the music play. We got work to do!
Last but not least, my best
friend, Macy Alexander. We go back so far. You are
the only bitch that knew me from the beginning. You have
seen me up and down. You and Jason have given me true
friendship and that is priceless. You have never turned
your back on me. I've known you for over ten years.
I LOVE YOU! Don't you forget it. You know we are
true sisters. You have given men confidence that I didn't
have for myself. I thank you for being there for me.
You are my diva!
There are people that I'd
like to say thank you to: The Phat Boi Kings, Ronnie, Blake, and
Basil (Keep up the good work. You're so sexy.) Thank
you to all my fans and friends in the world. I hope I've
touched you all in a good way with love. I love you all.
